If your unaware of what Looking Glass is, it's truly amazing.
a life like 3D volumetric display.  Done using some sort of holographic or lenticular layers in front of a 2D display. It has a solid 2 inch thick Acrylic Brick that hold the optics together in a super solid fashion. Anyhow the end result is amazing.
