This is the state of the art in Chroma-key / Bluescreen. A computer generate set is place not just behind but around the actors.
When you pan, zoom and dolly the cameras the set moves in a realistic way relative to the actors.
Pay particular attention to the glass table. That's what's amazing is it's transparent and yet shows the virtual set behind it.

There are using mechanical encoders to track camera motion.
There are now mechanisms to do this entirely in software but it's usually a post production and not live.
You can probably do something like this in Adobe after effects using Motion tracking and chroma-key but it wouldn't quite be the same.
