Nginx - high performance web server

Nginx™ (pronounced “engine x”), a high performance web server and a reverse proxy server. nginx project started in 2002 and became public in 2004. According to Netcraft over 6% of top million sites run nginx.

I see a number of sites serving streaming Flash Video using this web server.

I wonder how it compaires with AfterBurner or thhtpd.
