New York, NY, February 2, 2009 – Azzurro Systems Integration, a unit of Azzurro HD, announced today that Time Warner Cable Buffalo has awarded it a contract for development of an automated television production facility creating a new paradigm in local TV news. The reporter stations will be capable of P2 ingest and desktop editing using the Dalet Editing application. The master control room will feature a large 65” LCD monitor fed from an Evertz VIP processor.
Steve Paulus, Regional Vice President of Time Warner Cable’s News Division, stated "We are very excited to bring local news to the Buffalo area by creating a new paradigm in news production. We spent considerable time researching vendors and partners for this new opportunity and we are confident that the channel will be well received.
