In today's spotlight, FierceTelecom takes a look at the impact that the General Service Administration's Networx Universal contract has had on AT&T (NYSE: T), CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL), Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and other companies that got a piece of the $48 billion in contracts awarded in 2007. A recent report showed there's a difference in opinion between service providers and agencies on the revenue potential for Networx. Sprint (NYSE: S) and Level 3 (NYSE: LVLT), which both only hold the Enterprise contract, say they are continually being edged out of opportunities by the three Networx Universal prime holders AT&T, CenturyLink, and Verizon.
